Hello! I’m Cheri, and I’m here to share my love of yoga. I was an on-again, off-again student for decades until a few years ago, when I noticed that it was difficult to get up off the floor and I was groaning a lot getting out of a chair! I was uncomfortable in my body (and in my mind and spirit, I’d soon learn) so I committed to doing yoga a few days a week. I began to feel better—not just stronger, but more patient, a little kinder, quieter, more accepting. I wanted more of all that, so I dove into a 200-hour teacher training, with no intention to teach, btw… But yoga is truly transformative, and I’m now so glad to be able to share it, teaching slow flow, gentle, chair, and yin yoga. I remain a student, too, taking classes and continuing to learn and grow.

Off the mat, you’ll likely find me outside: hiking, trying to keep green things in the yard alive, playing with my dog and cat, or lounging on the porch. I also spend lots of time reading, and love to travel. My husband and I raised our three kids here, so it’s possible you and I have crossed paths over the years; if not, I look forward to meeting you!
